there is no such thing in my world as the summer time blues.  Which is just the way that I like it.  However, I have been having the blogging blues.  There have been things that I wanted to blog about, yet, the time still has not been there.

We had our Children’s Camp last week which went very well.  I was telling one of our leaders the other day that this has been one of the best summers that we have had as a children’s ministry.  VBS went great and now our Camp went better than ever.  We took over 120 children this past week.  God blessed in a special way.  Our staff did a wonderful job.

On a personal note: God has been working on me on several issues in my life.  I so desperately wantto be obedient to God and his call on my life.  God has a perfect will and a personal will for everyone.  I want to do both.  Sometimes we get so caught up in doing that we often d0n’t take the time to stop and listen.  We get so caught up in trying to do God’s will that we don’t take the time to be still and know that he is God.  Take time today to be still, stop, and listen to what God’s will is.  You may find that you are so far from his will that you need to hit your knees and find out what God is calling you to do.
