The Person God Uses

It is time that we as Christians start living like Christ.  I am a pretty easy going individual and it takes a lot for me to get upset.  However, here lately Christians have been getting on my nerves.  Even I have been getting on my on nerves.

What has been getting on my nerves? How we don’t take our walk with Christ serious. How we think that God somehow cant do his job without us. How many Christians are letting this world make the decisions for them and not God’s Word. How we worship so many other things and often leave worshipping God out.

I desperately more than ever want to be used by God.  I have preached this sermon two times now and each time God gets my attention.  God has brought me to my knees, and I hope he will bring many more to theirs.

What Kind of Person Does God Use?

  1. Must be born again- You must be a Christian in order to be used by God. Not a church member, or being baptized, but you must know Jesus as Savior.
  2. Must be surrendered to him- Our time, talents, and tithe must be given to him.  This is all done with a cheerful heart.  God must have every area of our life.
  3. Must be clean on the inside and out- We must make sure that every area of our life is pure. From our dealings with others to when we are all alone with nobody around.  God keep us close and clean.
  4. Must be saturated with God’s Word- Show me a man or a woman who loves God’s Word and I will show you a man or a woman who God is using.

Thanks Clint. And this is so true in my case too. I think God needs my help when in fact I need to give Him all control and leave it alone. Pray for me as I deal with this issue. And pray for my family too. Also I want to let you know how much I appreciate you and your family and what a blessing all of you are to me. Thanks.
